I will be exhibiting my work for the first time at Oxfordshire Artweeks 2024.
I am a botanical artist based near Oxford in the UK. I enjoy creating highly detailed, bright and colourful flower paintings using watercolour.
Many of the flowers I paint are from my garden.
On leaving art college I worked for six months at the Jersey Pottery in the Channel Islands as a ceramic artist. I freehand painted the floral designs on vases, plates and lamps. After raising family, I moved on to a career in horticulture and gardening.
In 2020, I picked up a paintbrush again after a 35 year gap and decided to try something new.
Currenty I am offering several of my paintings as limited edition Giclée prints while I build a portfolio of work.
